Bulk Lot of 25 "Peace Dove" £2 Coins (£50) 1995

Here we have a bulk lot of 25 old style £2 coins: £50 total. They are all commemorative "Peace Dove" 50th anniversary of the end of World War II.

The obverse of the coin depicts the third crowned portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the George IV State Diadem, with legend around which reads (in abridged Latin) ELIZABETH·II·DEI·GRATIA·REGINA·F·D, which translated means, "Elizabeth the Second by the Grace of God Queen Defender of the Faith". The reverse depicts a dove with an olive branch. The edge is milled with incuse lettering that read 1945 IN PEACE GOODWILL 1995.
